Shooting in black and white is a rarity, especially with digital cameras. It is usually something we think of in postproduction. But black and white photographs require a certain composition that we wanted to experiment with. We challenged ourselves to shoot only black and white photos in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), the capital of Vietnam. With that in mind, we sought out unique light, interesting patterns, and macro shots. Below are our favorites.
