Spending time in a special place 8,000 feet above sea level. Closer to the sun here. The air is crisp and thin and it makes the drinks feel stronger. The arid smell of pine seeping through the sun roof at 40 mph. Jeffreys, Sugars, Ponderosas. Oxygen breeds mindfulness. Retro motel signage. Vacancy. Competition breeds color TVs, HBO, and kitchenettes. The sound of melting snow pack rushes into clear turquoise waters. The water is instantly numbing but we jump in anyway.  Keep Tahoe Blue.
